What got me here?
I started my career in 2012 taking on a business strategy and finance-oriented role in the UAE, however, my love for cinema and storytelling drew me to the ad world.
I explored a couple of freelance opportunities as a content producer and journalist, with Swerve ME and UAE BARQ, but my journey took off in 2017 with OML Entertainment and Bacardi. After many successful branded content partnerships with musicians, creators and artists, across the European, Middle East, and Asian markets, I moved back to my home city, Dubai.
At ICON I worked as a brand custodian for global automotive brands such as Mercedes, Suzuki, Citroën, Goodyear, and Continental. My role involved working closely with brand teams while managing in-house creative and social teams to help brands grow their equity in the digital ecosystem.

I have also consulted for a couple of start-ups in the tech and creative space. Ultrahuman in health tech, Alchemy Group in Ad Tech, and Modern East @ Chalhoub Group in Creative Partnerships.
Outside work, cricket takes up all my time. Besides playing regularly I try to write & make content on www.thebatpacker.com as frequently as I can.

I am a solid believer in human/creator-led, organic and localized marketing over a product-heavy approach. The best brands tell stories, make their consumers feel an emotion, and in the words of Greg Hoffman, our job is to design that emotion.
In a world of mindless scrolling and an ocean of nonstop content consumption, I am here to create, shape, and build scroll-stopping pieces while continue betting on long-format content (anything that’s longer than 180 seconds which is considered long in today’s digital climate) whether it’s podcasts, web series, music videos and more.
